Do You Smell Carrots?

We got back from my Grandpa’s for Thanksgiving a little while ago, and it was so much fun! I’m already in a Christmas mood. I put up my Christmas decorations today; I can’t get into the Christmas spirit until thanksgiving is over. This year I decided that after seeing how cute Hannah’s room looked with her Christmas lights hung on her walls, I had to try it. The results, I must say, look amazing. My room looks cozy and inviting, and I wish I could just stay in there all the time! I am hoping to find a mini Christmas tree to put in my room as well.

Man, staying at my Grandma’s was so much fun! We got there Thanksgiving morning and stayed till today. I take for granted how many of us are good cooks, ughhh. I feel like a Bear ready to hibernate… I’m full and fat, show me to the cave! I ate green bean casserole (that I contributed to), pumpkin pie, and every other traditional Thanksgiving dish. (My mother made one heck of a coconut pie) The next day, Jeremiah took advantage of the isolated 100 acres of land, and of deer season. He brought down a very nice first-time-ever-to-shoot-one Buck with two points. I am very proud of him, Very sad for the deer, but proud of Jeremiah. :>

It’s so cold! It doesn't’t help that it’s raining cats and dogs, but gosh, it’s like 30 outside! I love cold weather only if it’s cold enough for a fire, and it’s definitely that cold! I am soaking in the warmth of our lovely fire, and curling up on the couch with a book and a cup of hot chocolate every chance I get.

I have a lot of pictures, but they are not on my computer yet, so I will take time to update maybe tomorrow and post them. Until then I leave you with a great joke I read in a magazine.

Two snowmen are talking to each other when one of the snowmen makes a funny face and asks, "Do you smell carrots?"

Peace Out,

Hey! The Dad is wondering when you are going to post some pics of Jeremiah's awesome deer? I know a dead deer is not exactly what you want to paste all over your wonderful website, but hey - I'm kinda proud of the boy. (and of you too, of course. You're awesome!) love, the Dad-man.
