…And Now For My Version

I’M HOOOOOME! And glad to be. Big cities scare me.

I’ve spent about 24ish hours in the car [not all at once] and I am SO glad to be home. I’m a homebody and I don’t like leaving my house [or my puppy]. It was really fun though, in Nashville. [Yes, that’s where we went. I didn’t tell you before ‘cause I didn’t want any dolphin kissing hackers to hunt down the name of our hotel and murder me in my sleep.]

The hotel we stayed at was called The Hilton. [Think Zach and Cody and you’ve got almost an exact picture] It’s a really high-dollar hotel that costs like 300 a night. Thank God that Dad’s work was paying. There were bellboys running around everywhere asking “Can I help you?” “Can I help you?” It was cool at first and then just really annoying. The pool was tiny and I was disappointed, and Bethany and I made friends with this one guy who decided that kids can’t be trusted and must be watched every second that you’re near them. He was rude and we tried to stay out of his domain. Our room was pretty sweet, but I was once again reminded of how addicting a TV can be. Man, you walk by and have to stop and watch whatever’s playing. Its insane how addicting it is. Anyway, to sum up our 5 [or was it 4] day stay at The Hilton, I would much rather stay at a cheaper hotel. I wasn’t impressed. At all.

I’ve been listening to The Effect every day I’ve been home cause in Nashville every station had nothing but country music. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got nothing against country music, but 4 days of it is a little excessive. And there were bars everywhere! For every block there must have been at least 7. It was so crazy! The weather was awesome up there. It got hot, but it wasn’t humid at all. Like down here. >@ I’m so tired of humidity. It makes my hair do crazy things that no ones hair should do.

We went to the Hermitage [Andrew Jackson’s home. Nicknamed by Jeremiah, “The Hermit Age”.] And I got some of the awesomest pictures. Do you know that in all only 3 of our presidents have ever visited President Jackson’s home? [Not including Jackson] It was pretty. I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the inside of the house so all my pics are of the outside. It was a beautiful day. [Curse you U2] We went other places too, like Belle Meade and the Parthenon. But the Hermitage was the best. Teehee, we spent [no joke] 5 hours there. I thought they might kick us out. But we had over 1100 acres to do whatever we wanted on so they prolly wouldn’t have found us.

After all of that, we drove to San Antonio and met up with the Vaughn’s [Love you Hannah] and we got rooms on the same floor. I stayed in a room with Bethany, Bekah, and Hannah and we had fun talking long into the night and watching the ending of Titanic. [Which I’d never seen, and I hadn’t been missing much.] The pool was awesome [minus the bikiniers] and I actually got sunburned. I never burn, I just tan. [I know you hate me] and now my shoulders and my neck are toasted. They hurt so bad! I get so dark in the summer, my mom and I actually got on TV once because a dude from the Spanish Channel thought we were Hispanic. It’s cause I’ve got a lot of Indian in me. From my Mom’s side of the Fam.

To throw something out there for you, I can’t believe Pete Winzt got married. And of all the girls he had to choose from, he picked Jessica Simpson?! What is up with that? I don’t listen to Fall Out Boy but I really like the song Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.

I took over 500 pictures total, so when I get my Picassa albums running [they’re starting to tick me off] you can browse through them. I got some really good ones.

The wedding was so awesome! It went perfectly and it was really cute. Andrew and Amanda decided when they starting courting that they weren’t going to kiss. So they kissed each other for the first time ever at the wedding. It was so awesome. I’m definitely going to save my first kiss for my hubby. Seeing their faces showed that it’s worth it. Nigel is doing so good thank God. He was in a car wreck and came out of it with tons of staples and a steel bar in his butt. He tells everyone he’s got the ultimate buns of steel. He was in a wheel chair for 3 months, and he’s been walking for 3 weeks. It’s amazing how fast he healed.

In the course of one week I read 4 books. I took The Oath by Frank Peretti and finished it and then had to go to a book store and buy 3 more because I didn’t have anything to do on the way home. I read [in all] The Oath, Blessings, Monster, and Chosen. [By Frank Peretti, I don’t know her name, Frank Peretti, and Ted Dekker] They were all really good. Especially Monster. That one kept me on the edge. I was reading it when Dad stopped for a gas fill-up and he opened my door without me seeing him and it scared the living snot out of me. I jumped all the way off my seat. It’s a Christian horror book and it was insanely creepy. It so creepy because Frank Peretti takes things that could really happen and writes books about them happening. All about demons and stuff. They really make you hope you’ve got a good relationship with God.

BTW, I’ve got the first verse of The Rappin Elves Numbah 2 rap done. It’s funny and I need to get her over so we can write the second line. We also got a rap that a friend wrote for us that were actually considering doing. It’s really funny and I think we could pull it off.

Ok, I think I covered everything… Oh yeah, it’s raining. Now I’ve covered everything.

Tootle-loo! [And, dang it, I missed you people!]
