C'mon, and do the loco-motion with me!

Things I have learned from working at the clinic:

    1.     There are only two stations worth listening to in the area/region that the clinic is located. One is country. One is old rock.  End transmission.

2.    When a radio station says “America’s favorites”… it really means a grand total of 3 songs played over… and over… and OVER.

3.    The Carpenters are very popular on the radio. I think I’ve memorized every song they ever wrote... and the ones they only thought about writing.

4.    It is not possible to be a Barbie and a country singer. Likewise, it is not possible to be a rock star and a country singer. Ex. Carrie Underbrush and Tim McGronald.

5.    Brick House is an even grosser song then I originally thought.

I have been both physically and spiritually enriched.

I am in love. And believe it or not, it’s with a boy! He came into the clinic yesterday and I loved him at first sight. He’s four years old with blond hair that was spiked at the end, picture the cutest kid you’ve ever seen, and he’s a couple notches above them. I loved him. He had a three year old sister that was just below him on the adorable scale. So cute! But I’m not kidding guys, I almost died yesterday. Joey broke my heart. They were in the waiting room with their mom, and I was working in the adjoining room, and I heard a huge crash and lots of yelling. Joseph, his name was Joseph, had been trying to get a different book when he had knocked his moms soda over and broke the Styrofoam cup. It went all over the magazines and books and the mom started screaming at him. “JOSEPH! Look what you’ve done! THIS IS WHY I SAID SIT DOWN AND QUIT GETTING UP!” And poor Joey is crying his heart out, “I’m sorry mommy, I’m sorry… I’m so sorry mommy.” And she keeps yelling at him, dragging him to a chair and shoving him down. I started crying in that room, I was totally crushed for that little boy. My heart broke for him. He was only four! Man… I’m gonna start crying again if I don’t stop. No one… No one should yell at their kids like she did. And people wonder why their kids grow up and are suicidal. Holy cow… That kills me.

My fam went to The Country for the weekend, my grandparents place, and we painted my grandma’s hall. We also cleaned out her linen closets and I got two new sets of sheets and 5 pillow cases! I LOVE SHEETS!!!! I’m so excited! I now own 5 different sets! FIVE! It’s the coolest thing. Thank you Grandma! She reads my blog. Is that way cool or what? I mean, how many kids have grandparents that read their blogs? It’s neat! =}

Mom and I made fried rice for dinner and it is UH-MAZ-ING! It’s our best batch yet. Really yummo.

Today has consisted of school and helping Micaela write a speech for her Presidents class. She’s running for president of the class and I wrote her a cracking speech. She’s gonna throw candy to the kids too. How killer is that? She’s gonna win. No doubt, with the candy trick haha.

I’m gonna make cookies! Sorry for my lack of blogging the past few weeks.
