Take my hand and we'll make it I swear

*I typed up this entry on Tuesday morning, but internet was down so it’s a little late. Sorry… >}*

Interesting argument between Jeremiah and Josiah this morning… made me laugh, how crazy and completely serious they were… it went something like this.

Setting the stage - Josiah is being slightly annoying while Jeremiah is trying to do his reading, and Jeremiah gets angry.

Jeremiah- Josiah, please just be quiet.

Josiah- Make me.

Jeremiah- Do you really want me to make you? You won’t like it, trust me.

Josiah- No I don’t, just do your school Jeremiah.

One minute passes

Josiah- if I was taller you wouldn’t be able to make me.

Jeremiah- Yeah but you aren’t.

Josiah- But I will be when I’m older. And I’m gonna be taller than you.

Jeremiah- Josiah, it doesn’t matter how tall you are, I will always be able to take you.

Kids these days… completely serious I tell you. No joking at all. I’m sitting at the bar finishing my algebra and trying so hard not to laugh. I blew snot all over the back of my hand trying not to laugh at them. And both Josiah and Jeremiah make the cutest faces when they are mad. When we were little, Jeremiah and I really had it out with each other when I would stay home with them if mom had errands to run. We would have screaming matches, just yelling at each other, and as mad as I always was, I always loved it when he was mad at me because he was just so cute! His face would get all red and his whole body would shake. I love him! And Josiah is just hilarious, he’s still at the age where he makes all these stupid comebacks, like if I get mad at him, every comeback is “You!” I’m serious! “Josiah, why didn’t you pick that up? I asked you to clean that 10 minutes ago!” “…You!” If he wasn’t so funny I would be mad, but it’s hard to yell at a cute little half naked [he never wears a shirt unless we’re going somewhere] white-as-a-marshmallow boy. It’s hard!

There really is nothing better than waking yourself up early in the morning with a hot, doctored-up-with-a-good-vanilla-creamer, cup of coffee. [Except staying up late with friends] Bottom of the pot of course, mom and dad drink most of it by the time I wake up, and bottom of the pot is always fine with me. Wow that’s good. I love coffee, so stinking much. I could live on it. That and tea. I would be a-ok with tea and coffee for life.

So life is really good. I mean, it always is, I just don’t always see it clearly when I’m having a bad day or something… but life, is really really good right now. I’m… content. Prefect word. I mean it’s impossible to be completely content but I’m pretty close. New years was great, hanging with my family and texting Mackenna all night. But I did get quite frustrated with myself, as I fell asleep at 11:56 and woke back up at 12:10. I can’t believe I slept through, even the countdown. And none of my family woke me up. Yeah, thanks guys. And then came Micaela’s birthday the next day, she had a party in which the whole Jones family was invited to, and Alan and Nash too seeing as it would have been terribly rude not to include them, as they were staying with the Jones at the time. Nash [the crazy one] decided he wanted a streak of color in his hair like me and Mack’s, so my mom gave him a huge magenta streak on the back of his head. I mean it’s huge! And on the top layer too, not underneath like me and Mack’s. Mack and I redid ours too, its way more intense in color than it’s ever been before. Way brighter. I’ve also heard rumors that Nash isn’t allowed to have the streak in his hair for His sister’s wedding in May, and that means he’s going to have to re-dye his entire head, because he has dyed-black hair, and it’s slightly faded, so if he just re-dyed the streak, it would be a different color than all the rest of his hair. Ha! Stinky for him. But the party was fun, we played charades outside in front of the campfire and then we played wink-murder which I think my dad made up and it’s was a blast! Except Mrs. Jones killed me and I will never quite be able to forgive her. And then the boys and parents of the boys left and Mackenna, chandler, Micaela and I slept outside in the camper. Mack and I went to bed at 5 and got a call from Alan [the not-quite-as crazy one] at 6:30 when he was leaving for home. It was funny because Mack told him to call her when he was leaving but we had only been asleep for about an hour and she wouldn’t talk to him. I mean I shook her awake and told her Alan was on the phone and she just said  ugrughpnamk” which I believe means “Go away, I’m too tired to talk to him” and rolled over and went back to sleep. Ha it made me laugh. Then we got up around 11 and ate some eggs and watched Ghost Rider and she went home. It was a fun night. –does snap and clap combo- She told me later that I should have made her wake up, because she really wanted to talk to him and I said, “Mackenna, if you could have seen the look you gave me when I shook you, you wouldn’t have woken yourself up.” Seriously, I thought she was going to kill me. She cannot stand being woken up early. I love waking her up early though… because she loves me too much to hurt me. Most of the time.

And latest news is all about this weekend in which Mackenna left me for a whole like, 5 days and Hannah spent the night Friday night, that night was spent being stupid, and Saturday night I spent the night at her house, that night was spent being doubly stupid and making hilarious videos[check her facebook] and absolutely mastering the art of wiitennis upside down. She kicked my butt at it but it was definitely the funnest wii game I have ever played… in my eyes, it beats guitar hero, [ooooooooo, ahhhhhh] Oh yeah. It. Is. Awesomness. Defined. And Hannah and I are the champions my friends. We… are the champions, because gone are the losers, we are the champions.

HA! Get it GET IT???? WII ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! HAHAHA!!!! Wii are the champions!!!! Hahahhahah!!!! –sings- I made a funny, I made a funny, I made a funny!!

Well it’s just about time to get on the road, we have a basketball game in like, garland or somewhere tonight, long drive, but I’ve got bible reading to catch up with so that’s something to do. I guess I’ll leave you with the promise of more posts soon. Ooh! I have straight hair today! It’s been at least 4 months since I straightened it so I felt the need for a slight change in my day. And my poor hair is stretched out crying “Let us be free and curly! We can’t stand it! You’re hurting us! WHEEEE!” and it kills me, so tomorrow I’m back to normal crooked ways. It’s nice for a change sometimes [not in politics I must say to you Mr. Obama-Llama face] but I like the norm. I’m not a big fan of change. At all.

Adios, and until we meet again. Rain, sleet, fog or chocolate-covered purple hippos, I will always be right here typing another post for you avid readers to enjoy. Like a frosted mini-cake. It’s like a dessert! A delicacy. That’s what my writing is… to me at least haha, I hope I’m not the only one who feels like that… yikes…
